What is sexual addiction?
"Sexual addiction is defined as any sexually-related, compulsive behavior which interferes with normal living and causes severe stress on family, friends, loved ones, and one's work environment. Sexual addiction has been called sexual dependency and sexual compulsivity. Sexual addicts make sex a priority more important than family, friends, and work. Sex becomes the organizing principle of an addict's lives. They are willing to sacrifice what they cherish most in order to preserve and continue their unhealthy behavior." - via New Leaf
How is pornography harmful?
Unfortunately, pornography's powerful appeal leads many into sexual addiction. A life dedicated to pornography, or even just seasoned with occasional viewing of it can become considerably darkened by the many harmful side effects. Here are just a few of the many possible side effects of pornography addiction:

Although each group is different and we can't possibly be aware of, or agree with, what goes on at every meeting, this is the sex addiction support group/12 step program we officially endorse. Other groups are available. Some are helpful and some, in our opinion, are unhelpful and could even be harmful. One must prayerfully seek guidance and use discernment in which meetings/support groups to attend. Tragically, there are wolves in sheep's clothing masquerading as individuals and groups who can help you heal.
